A panel discussion featuring Asian Pacific Islander American chefs, restaurateurs, small business owners, and culinary pioneers. From back of the kitchen help to the face of today's culinary world, Asian Americans have always played in integral role in the food industry. Join OCA-GLA as we explore the trials, tribulations, and successes of Asian Americans who are making a name for themselves now in the local food scene. Food and drinks from the panelists' businesses will be provided.

Sen Sugano is the Director of Business Development at Grubwithus.com, a community where friends and future friends join and create group meals. Sen is also a board member of Kizuna, a 501(c)3 non-profit, whose mission is to engage and advocate for the Japanese American community by igniting the passion of young JAs. He graduated from the University of Southern California, where he earned a B.S. in Policy, Management and Planning with a concentration in Real Estate Development; and a Masters in Planning with a concentration in Economic Development.
